15 months...almost 16, oops!

Cadence has become such a fun kid to be around the past few months--she's so funny that I find myself laughing so much everyday at the silly noises she makes and things she finds to play with around the house.

She got two new teeth in the past month--a 3rd molar on August 29, and one of the teeth next to her top front two teeth on or about September 19.  She is still working on the whole talking thing, and I'm trying to keep track of all the things she says...mama, dada, nana (for banana), pain, pomme, down, dog, puppy, Maggi, Jeter, buck buck (for chickens), quack, ball, and she's said "bisou" a couple of times.

She loves to play with my camera, but only to take selfies, and she especially loves it when I hold it and take pictures of the two of us.  She has also discovered the pull out spice rack, and likes to put spices in the bathroom next to the kitchen.  She's trying to figure out how the elliptical works, and loves to wander around outside when we take the dogs out--she practices yelling at them and throwing balls at them.  She's got the whole dunking the basketball down like a pro and loves to deliver pairs of shoes to James and me for either us or her to wear.  Related to that, if she finds a bra in my room, she will promptly deliver it to me and try to lift up my shirt and put it on me.

She got a playset from the Hoovers this month and she's enjoyed exploring all it has to offer--climbing up the slide and lately, dancing on the top section---her best move being the moonwalk.  We went to a Parents and Tots class at the Discovery Center last week, and on Sunday we took her to a big park in Murfreesboro.  She's decided the best way to go down a slide is headfirst, which of course scares me, but by the look on her face she is thrilled.

Her favorite foods are animal crackers, grapes, cottage cheese, yogurt, string cheese, apples, bananas, and bread.  She's done very well in church the past few weeks, only needing to leave to get her diaper changed!
