Today seemed to be a little easier, and I definitely feel like Cadence cried less today than she has any other day. She woke up at 8am and I fed her right away, and then every 1.5-2 hours after that until she fell asleep at noon for about 2 hours. I managed to get a nap in while she slept on James around 3:00pm, and we went to the Swaffords for dinner since James had basketball games. She was awake the whole time we were at the Swaffords, and I fed her right before we left, but got hungry as the two hour mark approached. We went back home around 6:30, I fed her again, and then after half a story and some singing time she fell asleep on me. I managed to swaddle her, arms in!, and laid her down to sleep around 7:45. I hope that this doesn't mean she'll be awake from midnight until the wee hours in the morning, but I guess we'll just wait and see!
Re: cloth diapers, we started using them a few days ago, but yesterday I noticed a diaper rash developing, so we switched back to disposables until that clears up since you can't use diaper creams on cloth diapers. Sarah gave me some cloth inserts tonight to serve as a barrier between the diaper and her bum, so we went back to the cloth diapers this evening. I hope that the diaper rash is not a recurring problem with using cloth diapers, but I suppose that's another "wait and see" thing.
It's now 8:30, and I'm going to try and fall asleep just in case I do have a long night ahead of me...
