To say that I've been nesting over the past week would probably be a huge underestimation of all that I've been doing. Cleaning, cooking, packing, sewing, shopping, organizing....you name it, I've probably done it or at least thought about doing it.
Sunday after church James and I went and used our registry completion discounts at Target and Babies 'R Us to get the last few things that we need. We ended up getting our post-infant carrier carseat (that will last baby C until she no longer needs a carseat) for $126 after the 10% off and a price cut on it, so I was pretty stoked about that! We also got a lot of little things, and yesterday I used a generous gift card from one of James's friends to get a nice lightweight stroller and other things online from Babies R Us. Now I just need to keep organizing!
Yesterday I set up my sewing machine and started my first project--burp cloths! One of the boys in Cooper Farris abandoned a white towel, so I cut it up and sewed rectangles of that with some pretty fabric squares I bought--and ta-da! I love them!
There are officially 5 days left on the countdown, and tomorrow I visit the doctor again. I really feel that I will be more dilated because baby's been pushing a lot down there at night and making it hard for me to fall asleep, plus I've been walking like a madwoman, but I suppose only time will tell!
