Today we went to see Dr. Moss, and after checking me she found that my cervix had thinned out more, but was still closed, so it was time to talk about scheduling an induction. She looked at James and me and said, "Wanna have a baby on Thursday?" and we said, "THIS Thursday?!?" We were expecting her to schedule it for sometime next week, but I guess she's on call this Thursday so she wanted to do it then. So we'll check in to the hospital Wednesday night around 8:00, they'll give me a pill to soften my cervix, and then in the morning they'll start the Pitocin, and hopefully by the end of the day we'll have a little girl! It turned out to be great timing since my parents and sisters will be coming Friday night.
Now James and I are just a little bewildered as to what to do...one could say we've been "ready" for weeks now, but knowing now exactly when this will all go down and having more time to prepare can make one crazy! I came home from the appointment and started packing some more boxes, and I'm sure I'll spend all day tomorrow cleaning so that things are in order for when we come home from the hospital. Things are about to get very exciting!
